Highlights from February Breakfast

The women’s ministry exists to lead women into a right relationship with Christ that will bring glory and honor to His name. We seek to accomplish this by encouraging each woman to fully trust in Jesus Christ to be the foundation in marriage, singleness, childrearing, and building a walk of faith. Titus 2: 1-5 is our foundation verse. (Is Jesus enough?)

Additional points:

Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her Ephesians 5:25.  It is Christ’s church

The church is under the direction of qualified male leadership Titus 1: 5-9.

The Christian life is countercultural - Biblical womanhood and worldly womanhood are radically different.

Women’s ministry is one part of the total life and work of our church.

Women’s ministry under the direction of our leadership allows us to fulfill the Titus 2 calling:

            To teach women about Biblical womanhood – being feminine

            To promote healthy marriage by teaching God’s design for marriage.

Matthew 28:19-20: Go therefore and make disciples…Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.

To disciple women in understanding areas of service in the church and equipping them to serve.
